iPhone Game : Car Jack Streets ( GTA Clone )

Tag Games has provided iLounge with a preview of it’s upcoming Car Jack Streets game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Based on Tag’s prior mobile title, Car Jack Streets is a top-down Grand Theft Auto-style game in which players must complete a number of missions, jobs, and assignments in order to pay down a massive gambling debt. The game will feature a large urban environment to explore, a wide variety of vehicles to operate, including both cars and helicopters, and will run in real time, utilizing the iPhone’s clock and date to keep track of in-game events. Car Jack Streets is set for an early 2009 release; pricing has yet to be announced.

iPhone Apps : Hood v1.0 Released

Rip Dev have coded a pretty neat, free, iPhone tool in 8 hours. What does this neat tool do? Well, this tool allows you to toggle Airport/Bluetooth from on to off or vice versa, kill active applications, and monitor the memory usage in real time all at the swipe of a finger across the status bar!

Hood is available now in Installer.app, category Utilities..

To activate, just swipe the finger across the status bar (that’s where the carrier name, time, and various status icons are displayed)

Joost Releases Free Application for iPhone

Joost has released a free application for the iPhone that provides iPod Touch and iPhone users access to the ever-expanding library of TV shows, Comedies, and other video contest from Joost.  Unlike YouTube which is made up of mostly user-uploaded content, Joost offers over 46,000 videos - music, TV, movies and more - all over a WiFi connection.

You can choose what to watch in a variety of ways:

- Select “most popular” videos
- Watch our favorites
- Search for a specific video
